Luxury Diving Liveaboard Labuan Bajo — Premium Komodo Dive Expedition

Luxury Diving Liveaboard Labuan Bajo — Premium Dive Expedition in Komodo

Komodo National Park is one of the world’s premier diving destinations, and a luxury diving liveaboard from Labuan Bajo is the ultimate way to access the region’s most spectacular underwater sites. The Komodo marine park offers an extraordinary diversity of dive experiences — from manta ray cleaning stations and pristine coral walls to thrilling drift dives through nutrient-rich channels, encounters with reef sharks, dolphins, and rare marine species, and macro photography sites that rival the best in the Coral Triangle.

A luxury diving liveaboard combines serious diving with serious comfort. Between dives, you relax in an air-conditioned cabin, enjoy gourmet meals prepared by a private chef, and recharge on a sundeck with panoramic views of the volcanic Komodo landscape. This is not a basic dive boat — this is a premium dive experience wrapped in the luxury of a private yacht charter.

Komodo’s Premier Dive Sites

Manta Point (Makassar Reef)

The flagship dive site of Komodo — a shallow reef where giant oceanic manta rays aggregate at cleaning stations. Divers descend to 10-15 metres and position themselves on the reef to watch mantas glide overhead in a ballet of grace and power. Encounters range from single mantas to groups of 20+. Best conditions: April-November.

Castle Rock

A submerged pinnacle rising from the deep, Castle Rock attracts massive schools of fish — giant trevally, barracuda, sweetlips, and fusiliers form swirling walls of silver around the rock. Grey reef sharks patrol the edges, and Napoleon wrasse cruise past divers with regal indifference. Strong currents make this an advanced site with spectacular rewards.

Crystal Rock

Adjacent to Castle Rock, Crystal Rock features stunning hard coral formations and similar pelagic action. The top of the pinnacle at 4 metres makes an excellent safety stop, surrounded by anthias clouds and colourful reef fish. On good days, visibility reaches 30+ metres.

Batu Bolong

A dramatic rock pinnacle surrounded by some of the most pristine coral in Komodo. The walls are covered in soft corals, sea fans, and sponges in every colour imaginable. White-tip and grey reef sharks patrol the base, while the shallows host an explosion of tropical reef life. Many dive professionals rank Batu Bolong among the top 10 dive sites in the world.

Shotgun & Torpedo Alley

For experienced divers seeking adrenaline, these drift dive sites deliver. Strong currents propel divers along coral-covered channels at speed, with sharks, turtles, and rays appearing from the blue as the current carries you through. Exhilarating and unforgettable.

Tatawa Besar & Tatawa Kecil

Excellent macro and wide-angle sites with diverse topography — slopes, walls, coral gardens, and sandy patches hosting nudibranchs, frogfish, pygmy seahorses, and blue-ringed octopus. Perfect for photography-focused divers.
